STRAIN

EPY300 (see reference below) harboring a variant of pRSLeu2d-BISopt. This variant (pRSLeu2d-BIS(F535A)) makes a mixture of alpha-bisabolene and beta-farnesene. See second reference below for description. Normally grow in SC-MHL (-His to select for genomic insertion in EPY300, -Met because ERG9 is under control of the MET3 promoter.
