pMevT. . Culture on Cm and 0.1% Glucose! This plasmid does not contain LacI, therefore the operon is constitutively expressed unless the strain is grown with glucose. We have noticed plasmid instability due to the high expression of this operon. pMevT is also known as pLac33MevT in lab books and notes.
