STRAIN

EHYL01 (JBx_055370), UAS1B2-pTEF-fadM was integrated with linearized pEHYl062 (JBx_049832). The Yarrowia selection marker was excised. The E. coli fadM (EcDH1_3166) was codon-optimized for expression in Y. lipolytica. A three amino acid long Yarrowia peroxisome targeting signal (SKL) was added to the fadM carboxy-terminus.
