STRAINStrain for homogenous titration of lipid unsaturation in glucose media. Arabinose concentration (1-100mM) controls proportion of unsaturated lipids. Unsaturated fatty acid auxotroph in the absence of arabinose; must be grown with oleic acid supplement.
